Blast24 Peace Imagine It

The journey of life, comes down to a search for peace. Ironically, to obtain peace we must sometimes temporarily embrace violence and take a stand.

Oh man, I've heard that song a million times, but everytime I sit down and listen to it, it makes me cry. Lennon found that material wealth wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. When the Beatles sang "All you need is love" they meant it.

Love-Represent!

Iti_steve--Well said! I'm a huge Julian Lennon fan, and it's a shame John walked away from Julian as a father. I am sure, it was one of John's biggest regrets, as the two of them were beginning to share quality time together when he were murdered.

The Lennon brothers must live in a constant state of awareness; that someone might make it a family-run.. the fear must be a tremendous burden to bear, not to mention the loss of their privacy; and I"m sure they must sacrifice a lot of freedom, to maintain careers without the glare of spotlights, flashing cameras, and gossip mongering magazines making fortunes from celebrity private lives and images.

But, John was but human; and our frail choices are not always "ours" to decide, as the hand of God has a pre-ordained destiny, on its own mission.

Blessings, North

This is true look at the situation in Iraq. The people were living under tyranny and the surrounding areas were in jeapordy of becoming under this rule. Had the US not intervened in 1990 Sadaam/Iraq could have easily taken hold of Saudia Arabia & Kuwait.
