Are you kidding me? Obama's campaign was the richest and most funded in the history of America. His 'mob' has it's own problems, trust me.

I luv ya Hammer and it's for your music, not for your politics. I look to your music to take me away from partisan politics and back to a melodic-driven revival of family and personal memories. You don't need this crap on your site. Just show me the sweet soulful music.

Hammer ~ why put this on here? I realize it's your site and all but politics? GOP isn't the mob. A lot of repbublicians are very hard working people. Makes me sad to see this on here.

Thank God I'm not ashamed to openly voice my opinions! Keep doing what you are doing!
This a great post! You are more than your music; but you already know that!
Silence is death and ignorance is murder to the soul to continue to share and enlighten the unlearned and unsuspecting!

Keep it coming! Don't be silence by fear, that is what, drives the republican party, hate and fear. We support you, we pray for you and we believe in you, we see it the same way. All over our city we have this crap and we are sick of republicans, so called good white folk trying to stir up trouble! The election is over, get over it !Let the man do his job, we had enough, let it go, how hateful can you people be! Republicans all the same, hateful in the name of God! Who's God?

Anonymous people have no back bone! Oh, I'm sorry my age catches up with me, maybe they do have a spine made of republican jelly. Good night, Hammer my boy. You have just as much right as I do or any other human being on this earth to voice its opinion God made it that way! He gets the last say and the last laugh not America! What a mess we put this country in maybe, now we can see some real progress!

I wonder about some of the anonymous commentors(are they the same ones that annoy on other stories you display). You're either not being religious enough and you can't wear jeans. Yet the majority of the american populations wear jeans(so they're just using the dumb side of the brain to be messy.

Some of us surf the net to get our news. By the way dummies Marvin Gaye and other musicians sing about politics and others rap.

If you want to make life better-you gotta stop hating!

Remember Hammer, MLK was a Republican. Was he part of the mob too?

I just spent the last 2 years fighting with my insurance company to get a surgery on my back. During that time, my partner and I both lost our jobs. Since we couldn't dare let my insurance lapse, we have been paying $850 a month for our insurance premium, while our unemployment pays us $500 a week. Meanwhile I spent two years unable to work, or walk more than 5 minutes.
I would be willing to let the government have a try at managing my health care, it couldn't be any worse than the people that are doing it for profit now.
As for the "Mob" I think there are a lot of people who are afraid because the world is changing, and they don't know how. In their ignorance they are willing to lash out at anything that seems new to them. And while these are not all people that are associated with the GOP, the party is never afraid to call on the "Base" when they need dirty work done.
Good for you hammer to express your feelings on here. I figure what good is notoriety if you can't use it to get something done.

The fact that someone would think that because one is gifted in the Arts that he should not have an opinion about LIFE, FAMILY and Politics is pure non sense.
I am the exact opposite of that view and perspective. I will always speak my mind and spirit. Especially when I see evil doers creating chaos in the name of God via the rhetoric their leader spew. Thank You.

What's up Hammer? I love you, your music, your family, and I am proud that you guys know the Lord Jesus Christ. But we disagree on politics bro. I am a black female who considers myself a independent conservative. I will not pick a party because I am not loyal to a party, I am loyal to God and what He says is right. This being said, that is why I did not vote for Obama. He is in favor of the homosexual lifestyle, and abortion, which of course is sin in the eyes of God. I am not shocked that some christains deceided to overlook this and vote for Obama because we tend to follow our feelings, the majority, etc. instead of God's Word. I am praying for our president & other lost souls that they will experience TRUE salvation & repentance, the kind that will have you proclaiming- FOR GOD I LIVE, FOR GOD I DIE. I WILL LIVE ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD & STAND UP FOR HIS TRUTH, DENY MYSELF, TAKE UP MY CROSS, & FOLLOW CHRIST.

Mr. Hammer,
I absolutely enjoy your show! You are a light in this world. Continue to be the fully well rounded person that you are. I pity the fool who puts others into a box and underestimates their ability to be a whole person. Thanks for putting your perspective out there. In life there will always be a faction of people who are critics, naysayer’s and pessimist; but we’re better for it. So many in this walk of life have combined politics, and opinions with their craft. They have made valuable contributions through their statements. Just think of the greats: Curtis Mayfield, John Lennon, Bob Dylan, and Marvin Gaye. Continue to be who you are in a bold way!
